Keswick, in the northern part of the Lake District have many varied festivals throughout the whole year.

There is the Words by the Water Festival with its programme of literary events close to the shores of stunning Derwentwater.

Then jazz lovers have their own Keswick Jazz Festival with over 100 different jazz events around town.

The Keswick Beer Festival with its offering of 200 real ales has become the largest in the North of England.

Then pre Christmas there is the Keswick Christmas Fayre, a great way to get into the Christmas spirit.
